October 25, 2004 - CRYPTAMERIA will be returning to the stage on November 27th and we'd like to invite everyone to attend. We'll be at The Coffee Bean in Dobson with WHEATSTONE BRIDGE ( the ultimate in technical prog-core). This will be an all ages show, but alcohol is served with ID. Doors at 8, show at 9.

September 10, 2004 - I would like to issue a HUGE personal thanks to Michael Romeo of Symphony X, one of the world's greatest guitarists in one of the world's greatest bands and definitely the COOLEST guy on the planet. Thanks so much for everything.

August 10, 2004 - CRYPTAMERIA TO AUDITION VOCALISTS
Following the unexpected (and completely unexplained) departure of former vocalist/bassist Kevin Lewis, CRYPTAMERIA will begin auditions for lead vocalist immediately. The individual to be chosen for this position will be capable of strong melodic vocals, willing to travel to practice twice weekly (Thursdays and Saturdays) without fail, willing to attend all gigs and have own transportation and equipment. If you are interested in auditioning, please email Pamela or call 276-620-1393. Auditions will be conducted until position is filled. We do prefer an individual with recording and performance experience to fill the position, but we are willing to work with the right person.

June 13, 2004 - THE COFFEE BEAN
Cryptameria was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some absolutely incredible bands this weekend. CRESENT, as usual put on an awesome performance and were great to work with. We also had the great pleasure of meeting the amazing technical progcore band WHEATSTONE BRIDGE - these are wonderful and talented people that must be seen to be believed - and EINSTEIN'S DREAM, a truly unique band!!! We are looking forward to playing many more shows with these bands in the near future!

May 19, 2004 - SITE UPDATE
The site update is almost complete and the parts that are under construction should be available soon. Sound clips from shadows apart are now on the sounds page, so check 'em out! a press section will be added soon. check out the events to see new show dates!

April 27, 2004 - CRYPTAMERIA EP IS COMPLETED
Cryptameria completed the recording of their EP Shadows Apart at Eastwood Studios this past weekend with the expert assistance of Engineer Wes Easter. Sound clips from the EP will be available on the site soon and the CD can be pre-ordered by emailing any band member. The CD is now available for purchase at all shows and at Magic Video in Independence, VA.

April 24 & 25, 2004 - CRYPTAMERIA IN THE STUDIO
Cryptameria will begin recording their long awaited EP at Eastwood Studios. A description of the studio events and pictures will be available in the near future and will link into a new window from this section.
