Ci sara' probabilmente anche una data ad Atene il 1 febbraio, e la band sta progettando si suonare ai seguenti festival:

I DoomSword hanno trovato un nuovo chitarrista, Sacred Heart.

Causa incompatibilità di impegni il solista dei DoomSword lascia il gruppo per continuare col precedente impegno preso coi Time Machine.
Chiunque se la sentisse e ha passione per l'heavy può scrivere alla band

È stata decisa la data d'uscita del nuovo disco dei DoomSword, "Let Battle Commence": sarà il 29 settembre, per la Dragonheart Records.

"Let Battle Commence", il nuovo disco dei DoomSword, uscirà a settembre.

I DoomSword hanno in progetto alcuni nuovi concerti:

• 2 marzo 2003, Atene, Grecia
• 11 luglio 2003, Hamburg (Headbanger open air)
• 19 luglio 2003, Wurzburg (Keep it true! festival)

Ulteriori notizie saranno messe sul sito appena disponibili.

Il terzo album dei DoomSword sarà registrato in gennaio, con la stessa line-up del concerto:

• Deathmaster: vocals
• The Forger: rythm guitar
• Guardian Angel II: lead guitar
• Dark Omen: bass
• Wrathlord: drums

Il titolo sarà probabilmente "Let Battle Commence" e sarà incentrato sulla prima età vichinga in Inghilterra, nello specifico sull'invasione danese dell'esercito di Ivarr senz'Ossa alla conquista di York e di tutta la Northumbria.

I titoli già decisi sono:

• "Deathbringer - Blood on my hands"
• "The Blood Eagle"
• "My name will live on"
• "Woden's reign"
• "Heathen assault (Burn Jorvik to the ground!)"
• "The siege of York"
• "In the battlefield"

La copertina sarà nuovamente un dipinto di Arbo.

Dopo due album ed alcuni anni di avversità i DoomSword riusciranno finalmente a suonare dal vivo! Sono state decise le seguenti date:

• 22 Ottobre 2002, Ascoli Piceno (Italia),
• Attorno alla prima settimana di dicembre 2002, Atene (Grecia) (il giorno effettivo non e' ancora stato fissato, ma il concerto ci sarà sicuramente).

I DoomSword hanno un nuovo batterista: si chiama WrathLord ed è un ex-membro dei Fiurach.

Purtroppo la versione in vinile di "Resound the Horn" è in ritardo e ci vorranno ancora un paio di mesi prima che esca (sempre per la Metal Supremacy).

I DoomSword hanno gia' cominciato a scrivere i brani per il nuovo album.

La versone in vinile di "Resound the Horn" sarà disponibile entro la fine dell'estate per la Metal Supremacy (la stessa di Solstice, Twisted Tower Dire, Ritual Steel, Skullview ed altri).

"Resound the Horn" ha venduto circa 3000 copies dalla sua uscita.

A causa di alcuni fraintendimenti tra i DoomSword e l'editor del booklet, ci sono alcuni errori di stampa. Le correzioni possono essere trovate nella sezione chiamata Errata Corrige

Rallegratevi, il nuovo album dei DoomSword e' uscito! ORA! Sfidando il fato, gli dei (e la volonta' umana) i potenti DoomSword sono riusciti a consegnare il loro capolavoro ai Fedeli una settimana prima di quanto annunciato in precedenza.

• Heavy oder Was!?: 11/12 (8th su 64 nella Souncheck chart, solo un passo sotto R. J. Dio!!)

The new DoomSword's album Resound the Horn will be out on the 24th of June!

I've listened to the whole CD and it's simply GREAT!

Here some short opinions of the tracks:

1. Shores of Vinland: The mighty voice of Deathmaster is back!! It's VERY Bathory style...well it remembers me some song from Hammerheart...just guess!
2. Onward the battle: It's as "old" Manowar would have done: truly EPIC! Both in lyrics and music are really great. With no doubt it's one of my favourite tracks in the whole album.
3. The DoomSword: Like the title says: just Doom! This track is different from others in this album (it's like a jump back to the demo) but it's still great! The perfect hymn for DoomSword!
4. MCXIX: Just listen to it!!
5. For Those Who Die with Sword in Hand: Another great track. The solos in the "final" part are truly great! I'd listen to them for days!
6. The Early Days of Finn MacCool: One of the shortest track in the album ("just" 5 mins!!), but still great!
7. Resound the Horn: Odin's Hail: No comment (I just say it's my favourite song!!)
