HEAVY METAL MANIACS festival IX
Posted by: warlordtony on Jun 05, 2008 - 10:39 PM
Concert News Saturday 25th October 2008 is the date the next Heavy Metal Maniacs festival
will be held.

As usual at the Manifesto in Hoorn (not that far from Amsterdam).

We are very happy that we can announce another great bill. NWOBHM legends
Cloven Hoof, who have singer Russ North back, will do an old school classic
Hoof show !

In the past the HMM festival built up a tradition of having reunions of
Dutch 80s metal bands. This year we hang on to this tradition by having
reunions of Gilgamesj and Ear Danger.

Portrait from Sweden and Roadkill from The Hague are from the younger
generation and show us that the future of Heavy Metal is in good hands ! And
finally we have Wizard on the festival after they had to cancell their show
a few years ago. The band has been around since the mid 90s and through the
years they built up a great live reputation with shows at the Wacken Open
Air, Keep It True and many more.
