Biography:
"Autumn" has begun at 1993 in Ekaterinburg .
Idea of group creation is belongs to Yury the "Rottor" – the former guitarist of «Russkaya Zima» («Russian Winter») and the member of the firs
stuff of "Thy Repentance" and Sergey Berdyshev – the drummer who was a acquainted with Rottor since their participation in school and student
groups. At that time Sergey collaborated with «Aletheya» group which at its evolution beginning experimented in the fields of Death Metal. In
«Aletheya» exactly the second guitarist Sergey « Voron» («Raven ») was found. All of them were united by interest of new for that time music
as doom metal, as well as a common predisposition to melancholy and common a version of every kind of fuss and hurry.
The group has begun to rehearse.
A bit later keys player end vocalistess Svetlana «Slavyana» Polezhaeva has joined to group.
After the changing of some unaccommodating bass players "Autumn people" have remembered about a some person who named as Felix Bigorov
who has played together with them as early as at school group.
So the first line-up of «Autumn» has completed.
In 1995 at one of small rehearsal studio the group has recorded its first demo "The Druid Autumn" which consist of three tracks in English. "Undead
Wood prods." engaged in distribution of demo and it has got good rewievs in some underground printed zines.
In 1997 at "Pinoccio records" studio the first full demo album of 60-minutes of total time "...αnd We Are Falling Leaves" was recorded. All the lyrics was as before in English.
After the album was issued the goup has important rearrangement in its active list. By the new line-up the goup has prepared and issued the second
album «Black Wings» in 2000 which was recorded as before at "Pinoccio Records" studio. For this once all the tracks except one was on native Russian.
The withdrawl of English is connected with the wish to express their own ideas more freely and deeply. From this album "Autumn" once and for all has
switched to native language. «Black Wings» is a conceptual album which relates of dark side of love.
Album was issued in a small edition and quickly distributed through local shops and delivery.
In 2003 the group has issued its third album «Autumn is Eternal» and has discontinued its being.
At the end of 2004 Russian label «Stygian Crypt productions» has showed interest in «Black wings» issue on CD.
After the remastering at CDM records in Moscow the album was issued with the new design of famous underground designer W.Smerdulak at april of 2005.
