Here are some breaking news from the Solemnity camp..... # The new album SHOCKWAVE OF STEEL is selling great and the reviews throughout the world are simply fantastic!!! Except for some few pieces all 500 vinyls are sold out and the CD sold within 8 weeks only in Germany more than 2.000 times without a real distribution deal, but via mailorders and our loyal partners in steel!!! # We have a new drummer confirmed as Adrian got married and stopped being interested in music. His name is “Holger The Spider” who is one of the best known drum-teachers in South Germany and at least here very well known for his skills. See more details to come on our homepage within the next few weeks. # The new founded label by Sven The Axe SOLEMNITY-MUSIC announces the next release for Jan/Feb´06: It will be a TRIBUTE TO CIRITH UNGOL, the legendary US Metal band from the 80´s. The album will be available as limited Picture Vinyl and of course as a CD version with a megafat booklet and liner-notes by original members Robert Garven & Greg Lindstrom. The following bands will take part in this project: SOLEMNITY, DAWN OF WINTER (aka Sacred Steel), BATTLE RAM, ELIXIR, ASSEDIUM, HOLY MARTYR, EMERALD, CRYSTAL VIPER, MONSTRUM, ROSAE CRUCIS and FALCON (the new band of Greg Lindstrom who will do a something very special for this release) More infos about that on www.solemnity-music.de # We are talking to several booking-agencies at the moment, so there will be definetely some hand-chosen events throughout Europe to come in 2006. And I mean, yes, again with the BIG pyroshow and some blank tits and tones of special effects and costumes wherever it is possible and people still believe in entertainment. # The new merchandise as been added to our online-store. Look out for some high quality Fruit Of The Loom-Shirts with the artwork of the new album. # Not so new is the information that we have recorded in the new line-up a few weeks ago a song for a Tribute To LIZZY BORDEN album which we were the last to jump in before the deadline and it will be released by the new US-label Archangel Records in early ´06.
