Malevolent Creation released one of the best death metal albums of the year, do you want more!!!?? Phil Fasciana (guitarist) tells us the brutal truth!!

TMC:How long have you been recording "Envenomed", and where? (which studio?)
Phil:Envenomed was recorded in July in Studio 13 recoording studio's with engineer/owner Jeremy Staska here in South Florida.It took us 3-4 weeks to record,mix and master the album.It was nice to record so close to our home and not have to much pressure on us during the recording.

TMC:What is your opinion for "Napster" and downloading mp3's from internet?
Phil:I am downloading the new Unlord cd."Gladiator" while i am doing this interview right now off of Napster.I think it is cool,but being a musician and having recorded 7 albums with Malevolent Creation and 2 with Hateplow,it kind of pisses me off that people are stealing my music also.But sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad.

TMC:what's your opinion for the death metal scene nowadays?
Phil:The death metal scene has been growing for the last few year's and it is nice to that people are starting to appreciate honest brutallity once again.I think people are finally getting sick of all those make-up wearing Korn wanabee's.There is just so many fucking gay band's out there selling a lot of record's and i can't figure out why.

TMC:Have you ever thought to add some different things to your music? (female vocals,keyboards e.t.c.)
Phil:Never,we may experiment once in a while,but keyboard's and female vocal's are not for Malevolent Creation.We are a metal band,we use guitar's,drum's and a bass,and one guy screaming.That is Metal!!!!!!!!

TMC:you are going to visit Greece for 2 gigs,one in Sallonica and the other one in Athens,did you like Greece when you toured back to 1999?
Phil:We had a great time last time in Greece,it was a killer show and the fans were fucking great!!! Our good friend Harry Katinakis has made this all possible,and we can't wait to play in Greece again.

TMC:i want you to mention me your all time favorite albums!
Phil:Dark Angel "Darkness Descends" Slayer "Hell Await's Destruction "Infernal Overkill" Kreator "Pleasure To Kill" Anvil "Forged In Fire" Just to name a few,i have so many,but these are the album's that really set the pace for me and malevolent creation.

TMC:you are a god for one day,what would you do?
Phil:I'd have sex with as many super model's as i could for 24 hour's straight!!!!!!!!

TMC:How difficult (if it is) is for you to participate to 2 groups (Malevolent Creation, Hateplow), and can you tell me the musical difference between them?
Phil:It isn't to hard actually,when the time is right we will concentrate on one band and write and record the music,then we will move onto the next band and do it again.Of course i put M.C. as my main priority but it is just cool having the two band's.M.C. is Metal and we try to make HatePlow more of a grind/crust type.
