In Samhain 1995
by a Drudic summoning Belinus were united to create a dark and
Celtic inspired art to continue the saga of our glorious pagan
past. The music consists of dark, melodic, Celtic War Metal, Thus
a dark twist in Irish folk. Belinus gives inspirational praise to
Godly bands such as Thin Lizzy, Slayer and Bathory. Celtic
Mythology has played an important role in the lyrics and music of
Belinus.
The name:
(Belenus, Beli [Welsh], Bile [Irish]) A Solar deity, he can be
seen as a Celtic equivalent of Apollo, probably of fire or of the
sun. In Irish mythology he was Bile is the god of death. |
