THE BAND
METALUCIFER was born in 1995 in Kuwana City, Japan, as the side project of Gezol - original member of the legendary Black Metal band SABBAT. Together with other SABBAT members and friends from GORE, SACRIFICE (and later also German ones: METAL INQUISITOR and DESASTER), Gezolucifer started his challenge against trends, mainstream, and the chaotic "metal" scene of the 90's. All the past and present members of METALUCIFER are serious die hard Heavy Metal maniacs, so very soon their ideology found legions of true worshippers and dedicated followers. Their simple but very emotional and true to the bone Heavy Metal is like a fist in spiked leather glove, which smash all the trendy faces. Love them, or hate them. This is Heavy Metal.

THE NAME
The name was taken from the classic SABBAT tune "Metalucifer And Evilucifer" (available on the "Evoke" LP). It means "King of the Heavy Metal Hell".

THE STYLE
METALUCIFER plays rough, simple, but very emotional Heavy Metal. Steel Drilling Heavy Metal!

The Heavy Metal Hunter who shows up on almost all of the METALUCIFER covers is Neal "Metal Master" Tanaka, one of the most famous Heavy Metal collectors and die hard supporters worldwide. He is kind of unofficial leader of all the Heavy Metal Hunters worldwide.
