CRYSTAL VIPER : VIRGIN STEELE COVER FEAT. DAVID DEFEIS & JOSH BLOCK POSTED ONLINE!!!
Polish female-fronted heavy metal band CRYSTAL VIPER has posted its cover version of the VIRGIN STEELE classic "Blood and Gasoline" on the group's MySpace page [ www.myspace.com/crystalviperofficial ]. The song features guest appearances by members of VIRGIN STEELE - vocalist David DeFeis (who played keyboards on the song, in addition to taking care of the mixing and mastering duties) and bassist/guitarist Josh Block. CRYSTAL VIPER's version of "Blood and Gasoline" will appear on the band's forthcoming limited-edition EXTRA-LONG MINI CD (more than 60 minutes!), titled "The Last Axeman" (due in February 2008 on Karthago Records), which will also include a bunch of other rare, previously unreleased songs and live recordings. In other news, CRYSTAL VIPER will open for DORO on December 19 in Katowice, Poland. CRYSTAL VIPER has previously shared the stage with such acts as CRADLE OF FILTH, ANVIL, DORO, SACRED STEEL and many others. Their debut album, "The Curse of Crystal Viper", came out in 2007 on Karthago and was later reissued as a limited vinyl LP on High Roller Records.

Girls are currently working on English version of their debut CD "Staya", and are already confirmed for the forthcoming A TRIBUTE TO WARLOCK CD compilation that will show up next year. New York based Heavy Metal legends VIRGIN STEELE, have signed an official
endorsement deal with the ALPHARD SOUND TECHNOLOGY ETP company, a Polish
producer of professional stage equipment. VIRGIN STEELE now officially use
their microphones both onstage and in the studio. VIRGIN STEELE is the first
foreign band to join a group of Polish acts, that are already dedicated
official users of ALPHARD microphones (incl. members of the legendary Metal
bands TURBO, CETI and KAT, and younger acts such as CRYSTAL VIPER). VIRGIN
STEELE are currently working on two brand new studio albums, and will
perform at the sold out Prog Power Festival, which will take place in
Atlanta, Georgia USA, on October 5th. For more information check out:

The Finland-based Heavy Metal rockers Armour won the Alphard Sound Battle
07 - young bands' competition organized by the Alphard Sound Technology
Enterprise, one of the leading producers of microphones, amplifiers, mixers
and other stage equipment (based in Poland). Main prize in the competition
was an endorsement deal with Alphard, and a management deal with Dragonight
Agency (home of bands such as Sabbat, Metalucifer, Hirax, Elixir or Crystal
Viper). Armour's debut demo CD "Sonichouse Tape" was released in early 2007,
and until now was sold in almost 1000 copies. Band's style can be described
as a mixture of classic heavy metal and hard rock, as the band lists artists
such as Accept, W.A.S.P., Dokken and Motley Crue as their main influences.
Currently the band is working on material for a debut album, and is looking
